Pictures

The pictures sent in for nomination will be used for advertising. If you have additional pictures of your horse you would like to be included on the online catalog, please email them to the sale office at  sundanceselecthorsesale@gmail.com. We suggest having at least 5-8 photos of your horse available to be viewed on the online catalog, and we can add additional pictures at any time up until the Monday before the sale, August 25th.

Videos

Each horse will have a video linked to their online catalog page. This is also the video that will be shown while your horse is selling in the ring. Please email the YouTube link or video to sundanceselecthorsesale@gmail.com. If the video submitted at nomination is the video you wish to use for the online catalog, please let the Sale Office know via email.

Lot Numbers

Lot numbers will be assigned at random. All consignors will be notified of their lot number(s) once catalog is posted.

Sale Weekend

Horses are allowed to check-in Thursday, August 28th. If you will be arriving sooner, please contact the Sale Office or Blake Thompson ahead of time so arrangements can be made. Consignors are required to allow prospective buyers to try the horses on Friday, August 29th, if asked to do so. All horses are required to have a Vet Inspection preformed Saturday morning prior to going through the sale ring. All horses are required to be in the Formal Preview Saturday morning.

Vet Inspection 

All horses in the Sundance Select Horse Sale are required to have a general health and lameness exam preformed Saturday morning prior to going in the ring. If your horse does not pass the inspection within normal limits, the horse will be not be allowed to sell in the ring at sale time.

Formal Preview 

The Formal Preview will begin at 9am on Saturday starting with Lot 1 and go in lot order. Each horse will have 3 minutes in the arena to be showcased and will be streamed live. If you are not at the arena when your lot number is called, you will be moved to the end of the list.

Reserves 

If you will be selling your horse with a reserve in place, please let Blake Thompson know what your reserve will be prior to the start of the sale. Your reserve is the absolute least amount you will take for your horse. We want your horse to sell and will do everything we can to have the price you're wanting realized. Once you have given your reserve to Blake, it cannot be changed.
